The Data Collection form can be configured to meet your needs.
The title reflects the activity selected in Admin for collecting.
The ID #, Checker, Notes, Emp #, Orally? and Written? labels are
all configurable labels. The checkboxes (Orally? and Written?)
can be hidden if not needed. The key field (ID #) can be required
or optional. Again, all these configurations are possible within
the Admin functionality of the application.
Here we have added a new item, filling out all the required and
optional fields. When we select the "Record" button
the information is saved to the database, the Emp # field is cleared
ready for the next entry. The data is validated to be sure that
it does not contain any commas or new lines, since it will be
uploaded to a comma delimited file to the PC.
If you own a Symbol scanner-enabled handheld (like the SPT1500/SPT1700
or Visor with scanner attachment), ID # and Emp # are scannable
fields.
The "Done" button navigates the user to the Main Menu.
The "Clear" button clears the entry field that the
cursor resides in.
The "List" button navigates to the Data Collection
List form. All information collected for the displayed activity
will be listed. We are collected information on activity "Tickets"
today.
Let's select the "List" button to view all the data
collected today.
