The Admin Main form, allows the administrator to maintain pulldown list, maintain activities, beam lists, configure field labels, choose defaults, perform backups, change the Admin password and to register the software. Once the software is registered, the "Register" button is hidden and the text at the bottom of the form changes to "Registered Version".

If you have another handheld with ActivityMgr on it or a friend does, you can beam your pulldown list and activity list from one handheld to the other. Simply select the "Beam Lists" button and point the IR ports at each other. Make sure the receiving handheld has their Prefs set to receive beams (ref. Prefs application under the General category).

If the data you are collecting is very important to you and you don't want to risk losing it (in case of a power failure for example) you should back it up. Below are screen shots demonstrating this feature. When you leave the application, you will be prompted to save your data as well unless you deselect the "On Exit?" checkbox.

A confirmation message displays to be sure that you want to do this. This operation can take a while if you have collected alot of data.

"No" will cancel the backup attempt.

We selected "Yes", the next screen shot shows the results.

The Backup functionality utilizes a third-party software. BackupPro is available at www.handera.com and can be used to backup all of your programs on your handheld, not just ActivityMgr. For ActivityMgr to find BackupPro on the handheld, you must have set-up BackupPro to save your data file and run the BackupPro backup at least once. Detailed information on exactly how to do this will be in the ReadMe for ActivityMgr.
