Asset Tracking


Asset List Form
 

The Asset List form is used for listing all the items in a particular location or All locations. The current location is displayed in the pulldown at the top of the form. By selecting a location in the pulldown, the list is updated. While here you can select an item in the list or scan in a barcode in the ID edit. You could even type in the ID if necessary.

Selecting an item in the list navigates the user to the Add/Edit Asset form populated with all the detailed information available on that item.

After scanning in an ID, the displayed location is checked for a match. If a match is found, the user is again navigated to the Add/Edit Asset form to view or update the detailed information on that item. If a match is not found, it could reside in another location. You could then select "All" from the location pulldown. If a match is found, it will immediately navigate to the Add/Edit Asset form and display the information as before.

ID and Serial # labels are configurable (just like on the Add/Edit Asset form). You'll see how to do this soon in Admin.

The "Add New Asset" button navigates the user to a blank Add/Edit Asset form.

The "Done" button navigates the user back to the Main Menu form.

Let's select the "Done" button and select the "Admin" button.
