Admin Main Form
 

The Admin Main form, allows the administrator to maintain locations, configure field labels, delete all the inventory, change the Admin password and to register the software. Once the software is registered, the "Register" button is hidden and the text at the bottom of the form changes to "Registered Version".

When you load up an import file, all your inventory is deleted and replaced by the new assets. If you ever want to delete all your inventory in the handheld without loading up new assets, select the "Delete Inventory" button. Below are screen shots demonstrating this feature.

A confirmation message displays to be sure that you want to do this. It will be permanently removed from the handheld. You might want to HotSync to save the information to a csv file on your PC first. Remember this can only be done within Admin.

"Cancel" will perserve the data on the handheld.

We selected "Ok", the next screen shot shows the results.

We tell you how many assets were deleted out of a total. This should always agree.

 

Back to the other Admin functionality, let's select the "Locations" button.
