The drop down fields are configurable in the Admin functionality. Here they are being used to collect HPM, DPM and Comments values. None of these fields are required, but if this is not the first leaf collected they will default to the previously selected values.

The values saved for HPM, DPM, and Comments are saved textually as well as numerically in the database. By storing these values numerically you now have a way to gather statistics on your collected data.

A free form area is available for additional comments that need to be recorded with this leaf. Again, this is not a required field.

The "Cancel" button navigates back to page 1 of the Main form.

The "Previous" button navigates back to page 2 of the Leaf Data form.

 

The "Save" button takes all the information that has been stored locally for the Grower, Field, Checker, Leaf and finally stores this in the Palm database. By selecting the "Save" button, a message is displayed to confirm the data was saved as shown here.

After selecting the "Ok" button, we are navigated back to the first page of the Leaf Data form. The leaf number is incremented to 2 and we are ready to continue collecting leaf data. Let's say we are done collecting data for this field, so we select the "Cancel" button and are returned to the Main form.
