Print Demo was designed to be used on a device running Palm OS™ v.3.2 or later but may be used on other devices using the Palm OS™. Print Demo works with Standard Symbol SPT 1500/1700/1740 Laser Barcode Readers and Palm™ handhelds or Palm Powered™ handhelds (e.g. Palm III or a Visor handheld PDA). This demo was created in partnership with Zebra Technologies in hopes of generating interest in their printers and our software. Hopefully you will gain an interest in both from our demo and have ideas of your own on how to use this technology.

•  This application is meant to demonstrate IR and Serial printing from a handheld.
•  Print commands can be stored in the MemoPad application and selected from this application to print.
•  Plain text can also be printed.
•  Tested with Zebra Technologies Label Vista™ software formats.
•  Successfully printed Serial and IR to Cameo and Encore printers.
•  Can be used to print strings, labels, and receipts.

Print Form
	The Print form is the starting point to the application. From here you can select a saved print string from the MemoPad application or graffiti in a string to print. Select either IR or Serial print option. The "Clear" button is available to clear out information in the print block. The "i" button contains information on how to contact Cougar Software Solutions to integrate this software into your custom application or create an application for you that involves printing. The "MemoPad" button navigates the user to a new form listing all their memos from the MemoPad application. Many MemoPad functions can be performed here and then return to this form with the memo that is to be printed. The "Print" button sends the print block off to the Serial or IR printer. Let's select a saved print string by using the "MemoPad" button.
