Q: If an application is barcode enabled, can I run it on my non-barcode
enabled handheld?
A: Yes, of course! Barcode scanning is a great way to collect information
quickly, but all of our applications that are barcode enabled work without
a scanner as well.
Q: Why do I get the message "Incorrect ROM Version" when I run CSS
software on my SPT1500?
A: You need to upgrade your handheld's OS. We have a download link for
the SPT1500 Flash tool to upgrade your SPT1500 on our downloads page.
Delete the application off the handheld before flashing the ROM to avoid
an incorrect expiration message afterwards.

It will be good for the full 30-day trial.

logfile?

This is located in the bottom right corner of your display. A pop-up

Q: When do I need to register a trial version?
A: Only after the 30-day trial is up and if you want to purchase the
software.
Q: My application trial period has expired and "111111"
does not work to register it?
A: "111111" is the default Admin password that we create all
our software with. This password can be changed within the Admin functionality
of the application. This is not the registration code. The registration
code is unique to a handheld based upon the information you see on the
Registration form within the Admin function of the application. You
will receive a registration code after purchasing one of our products
and after supplying the needed registration information.
Q: I installed the software, but I don't get a csv file when I do
a HotSync. What has to happen to run the conduit?
A: Be sure to exit and restart the HotSync manager before doing the
HotSync. This registers the conduit with the HotSync manager. Right
mouse click the HotSync manager icon in the PC system tray (right bottom
corner of PC desktop) to exit.

A: www.PalmOS.com
has many great links for novices to serious developers.
Q: What if I don't want to load the applications on my handheld
or I haven't purchased a handheld yet but want to see what the applications
do?
A: If you don't want to try the software on your Palm pilot, we do have
extensive screen shots on our website that should help you to understand
what the software is capable of doing. These can be navigated to from
our Products page. These applications were
created as standard applications, so if you don't see exactly what your
looking for or would like more functionality we can customize them to
meet your specific needs.
Q: What information is needed to register my application after I
purchase it?
A: Enter the Admin section of the application. First enter the Admin

select the Security Info button. A dialog will display. Send this information
to register@cougarsoft.net. A registration code will be
sent to you that you enter on this same form to register it. This will
be sent after verification of the sale is completed.
